Korean Service Medal W/2 Bronze Stars - The 65th Infantry Regiment participated in nine campaigns during the Korean War, PFC Rigoberto Arroyo Carretero participated in two of those campaigns. He earned the Combat -Infantry Badge and was injured in his right eye on April 13, 1951 which entitled him to the Purple Heart. This information was provided by his son Reinaldo Arroyo who presented his father's dd214 and other information to this site.
