| "PORTREX" Puerto Rico - A sniper of the 65th Infantry Regiment, peers out of his camouflaged foxhole overlooking Red Beach, on Vieques Island. He is a member of one of the Aggressor units taking part in PORTREX, the airborne amphibious war game involving 80,000 members of the Army, Navy and Air Force. The primary objective of the wxercise is to train the three sevices in the latest techniques involved in joint operations. - March 1950 |
