65th Infantry, 3d Infantry Division, United States
Army. On 7 November 1950,
near Yonghung, Korea, while Company "G" defending
its position against an
enemy force delivering heavy small arms and automatic
rifle fire, Sergeant
Feliciano discovered a member of his platoon had been
wounded and was unable to
return to the comparative safety of the friendly positions.
With complete disregard
for his own safety, Sergeant Feliciano braved the
heavy enemy fire to go out
to the wounded man and bring him back in safety to
his own lines. His heroic
act saved the life of his wounded comrade. Sergeant
Feliciano's gallantry and
courage reflect great credit upon himself ad the military
service. Entered the
military service from Puerto Rico.
