My uncle Carlos served with the 65th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Division in Korea. His rank was
Corporal. On July 18, 1952 he was wounded in action. While he was in Korea he also contracted
some kind of skin disorder which plagued him for the rest of his life. He never fully recovered
from what he encountered in Korea.
